We woke up about 7 today. There was a big windstorm that had been waking us up for hours. We finally gave up and surfed until the alarm went off at 8:15. We did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and left for the club. It was raining cats and dogs.
A lot of people cancelled because of the rain. We didn't. Both Ellen and I shot like shit. It was probably the lowest score I've shot in competition in many years. The rain made it miserable. We had a major malfunction with 2 stations left. We contacted the club, but no one came out. The whole thing sucked.
We went back to the trailer as soon as we were finished. We quickly cleaned the guns and coated them with Seal. Then we left for Portland.
There was a traffic jam just south of the bridge, so we went up via Newberg. We ate at Wendy's and then stopped at Cabelas on the way. We walked around for awhile, but couldn't find anything we liked. So we ended up buying the binoculars that we picked out last night.
After that we went to the Korean/French bakery in Beaverton. We bought some pasteries and then went to Touchmark. I bought a strawberry milkshake and took it upstairs to Mom. Toby and Yo were there. We all took Mom upstairs for dinner.
There was quite a group there. Tony, Yo, Hooch's family, and Monica. We had dinner and talked. Usually there was at least 3 separate conversations going on at all times. We broke up at 7.
We drove home and watched a movie. After that it was some surfing before going to bed.
