Day 1408

We got up at 9, a little earlier than we've been getting up lately.  After pet stuff and breakfast I decided to do a really old "incomplete".  I needed to make sure that the water pump worked in the trailer.

I started by putting some water in the fresh water tank.  Then I switched the valves to internal water and turned on the pump.  Everything worked perfectly.  I'm really glad that it did.  I put things back to using outside water and pulled the water tank drain.  It worked wonderfully also.  I think that the RV people had put a lot of water in the tank when we bought the tank.  That explains how the trailer seemed to tow a little heavy.

After that I went out to the shed to tidy it up.  I also wanted to separate out the stuff that I'll be taking with us when we leave.  I collected and staked up the stuff for Texas.  Then I tidied up some of the miscellaneous stuff that will be staying.  Finally I went through all of the unfired ammo that was stacked up on the floor.  I put all of the 12 ga on the remaining shelf and restacked the 20 ga.  That makes things look a lot better.  It also makes it a lot easier to navigate in the shed.

By then it was lunch time.  We both made ham sandwiches.  After that we went to the post office and the French Prairie farm store.  On the way back we stopped at Wally World to get another water hose.  I gave one to Goodwill that I should have kept.  Unfortunately they didn't have one.

When we got home I wrote a description for Hooch that Martha wanted me to write.  I think it's for some touchy feely thing he's signed up for.

When that was done we went shooting.  The weather was nice and it was fun.  I shot well except for three targets.  I don't understand.  I should have had no trouble with any of them.

After that it was dinner time.  Ellen fixed pork chops.  After dinner was surfing and TV.
