We got up at 8 today, did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and left for Portland. The yakisoba I had didn't sit well and I had to stop at Woodburn to unload it. We still go to St. Vincent in time to make Ellen's 9:30 appointment.
When she was done we went to Washington Square. I wanted to go to the Lego store. I bought a cool radio controlled Lego car. Then we walked around. They have really upgraded the place. Ellen stopped at a shoe store and bought a pair. We were going to eat lunch at the Cheesecake Factory, but ran out of time. We ate at the food court instead. We barely made it to the 1:00 appointment with Bob on time.
We had a good visit with Bob. He answered our questions and we worked out a tax plan for 2020. It turns out that we might want to sell a little more stock this year. When we were done we went home. Traffic was great.
On the way we decided to move some money from US Bank to new accounts at Chase. We got the check from US Bank, but the Chase banker wasn't available. We made an appointment for tomorrow. I also called Joe and made an appointment to get the truck's fuel filter changed.
When we got home it was TV and surfing. We ate restaurant leftovers for dinner. I watched the football game and took Lucy around the club at halftime. When I got back the DirectTv was acting up. Ellen went out and tried to adjust it while I watched the signal strengths. While she was doing that a car crashed in the house yard.
We went out to see if anyone was hurt. I had to go back and get a flashlight. While I was gone a 16 year girl emerged from the car. She wasn't hurt badly, but we called 911 for an ambulance and then her mother. Eventually both showed up, although both had a little trouble finding the place.
It turns out that the girl wasn't badly hurt, but we were glad we called anyway. We left after the girl and her mother left. The fire truck was packing up to leave.
The rest of the night was surfing, we gave up on the antenna.
