We got up at 8 this morning, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. Then we sat around surfing until about 10. Then it was time to go to Portland to see Alicia play volleyball.
The games were at the Catholic school across the street from the apartments we lived in when we first moved to Beaverton. The team Alicia's team was playing was much better than they were. Alicia's team lost all three games. Two of them were fairly close though.
After the game we (Hooch's family and us) went to a German Beer garden place for lunch. It was pretty good, and not nearly a noisy as the one in Keizer. When we were done Ellen and I stopped at the grocery store across the parking lot. We got Martha a peanut butter ice cream cake.
We spent the afternoon at Hooch's house. We all talked some and surfed a lot. I found a new duramax forum and I was having fun looking through it. They gave me Sophia's bird for awhile. It was kind of entertaining to have it on my shoulder. I didn't mind it chewing on me, but I drew the line when it wanted to eat my hearing aids.
We went to dinner at Cracker Barrel. Hooch really likes that place. After that we went home. We surfed for awhile and then went to bed.
