Day 1411

We got up at 8:15, did the pet stuff and had breakfast.  Then I got out the guns and loaded the  Ranger.  We left for the club about 9.

We hung around the club talking to people until the shoot started.  It started a little late.  We shot with Gerry and Travis.  It was fun.  Ellen shot pretty well.  The rest of us shot like shit.  It was nice though, and we didn't have to wait very long even though there were B squads.

After we finished we talked for awhile and then got in line for lunch.  We spent 15 or 20 minutes in line.  Then I figured out that at the rate they were serving customers we wouldn't eat for another 45 minutes.  That wouldn't cut it, so we ate lunch at the trailer.

After lunch we surfed for awhile and then went to the club.  We hung around there until the super sporting was over.  Tom had a hall of fame induction (Skip, Bev, and another guy).  They gave Ellen a $250 gift card to Cabela's.  Then we had dinner (rice with sausage and chicken pieces).

After dinner they had this fun activity.  They put everyone in a circle.  On person got a ball of plastic wrap with small prizes wrapped up in them.  The other got dice.  The person with the ball tried to unwrap a prize while the other person tried to roll doubles.  When they did, they got the ball and passed the dice to the next person in the circle.  The whole thing lasted quite awhile and everyone had fun.

After that they had a drawing.  Each person had an entry for every event they had entered this year.  The prizes ran from small (Ellen won a hat) to a rifle and shotgun.  Of course Skip won the shotgun.

The whole thing lasted until 8.  We went home afterwards and watched TV and surfed until bed time.
