Day 1403

It was another get up on time, but stay in bed surfing day.  After pert stuff and breakfast I decided to get serious about deciding on a truck.  I put up several windows with the GMC and Chevy build websites.  That allowed me to compare different configurations side by side.

The finalists were the GMC Denali and AT4, and the Chevy High Country.  They are all within $1,000 of each other.  The Denali seems to have the best interior.  It's dark brown and dark gray.  The other two are all black.  It looks like that's what I'll end up with.

I spent quite a lot of time on that effort.  Lunch was scrambled eggs and ham (frozen).  A little after lunch the shoe place called to say the suitcase was finished.  We drove over and picked it up.  We took River Road home and stopped at Jones Farm.  I got a waffle cone.  The girl filled the whole cone with ice cream and heaped it on top.  It was really good, but I suffered ice cream overload.

We stopped at the post office on the way home.  There was a letter from the insurance company saying that they'd denied all of the emergency room charges.  I was confused for awhile until I noticed that the letter was from the drug insurer.  The stupid hospital had billed them instead of Medicare.  I bet the bill I've already paid was the same mistake.

After that it was TV until dinner time.  Ellen fixed yakisoba.  It was really good.  I took the dog for a walk afterwards.  She was really lively.  The rest of the evening was more TV.

I did text Hooch.  It looks like we'll be going up there tomorrow.
