It was really cold when we woke up - low 40's. So we stayed in bed surfing for quite awhile. When we did get up it was pet stuff and breakfast. Then we went outside to prepare to leave.
I moved the car out of the car port and hooked up the water hose. Then Ellen started to wash and wax it. While she was doing that I started loading things into the truck. I put in the plastic boxes, the gun cart, ammo, and the extra water. It's pretty much ready to go. I also moved some stuff from the car port to the shed. Finally, I cut a hole in one of the collapsible traffic cones so I could fit it over the TV cable pipe.
I also took the garbage to the bin. While I was there I said goodbye to Dave. I'm pretty sure we'll be leaving too early on Wednesday to see them. He told us that he was reducing the winter rent to $150. That's great. Now I feel good about the price.
Ellen was still waxing the car when I was done with that so I started on the interior. I washed the windows, vacuumed, and cleaned the seats and the rest of the interior. We both finished about the same time.
I cleaned everything up and put everything away. Then we went to Target to get drugs for Ellen. Unfortunately the CVS computer was down and we couldn't get them. We did find a cool garment rack for the Richland storage unit.
We stopped at Hopdoddy's because I had a craving for a hamburger. We also bought a couple of things to take home for dinner. We went to Best Buy to use a $50 gift card. Unfortunately there wasn't really anything we wanted. I ended up buying a new wireless charger for the phone. I didn't really need it, but at least I can use it. The last stop was Wally World to get peppermint essential oil. It's supposed to keep the mice out of the car.
When we got home I wanted to watch the football game. The DirecTV was acting up though, and we were too lazy to work on it. Instead we just watched whatever was on.
There really wasn't a dinner, just some snacks. The rest of the evening was watching TV. Devon slept between my legs on the recliner. That's the first time he's done that since his operation. I hope it continues.
