I woke up with the alarm, turned it off, and went back to sleep for another hour. Then it was an hour of surfing before getting up, doing the pet stuff, and having breakfast.
After breakfast I went outside to do some pre-trip tasks. I changed the windshield on the Mazda. Then I changed the yard light. I also moved all of the stuff in the kid's room in the apartment and cleaned up the kitchen table. Finally I pumped up the truck tire and the trailer spare.
That's when the trouble started. I did the truck tires first using it's gauge. Then I did the trailer tire with the trailer gauge. For some reason I went back and measured a truck tire with the trailer gauge. That's when I found out that the truck gauge read about 8 or 9 pounds low. So I had to go back and refill them.
Before I did that I tried to start the truck. The batteries were dead. So I put on the charger before I re-aired the tires. The charger took some time, so I moved some stuff into the trailer. Ellen called around and found a Firestone store that sold Interstate batteries. So when the batteries were charged we drove over there.
The place was at the Y, so we ate lunch at the Thai place while they replaced the batteries. The cost was $380. After that was done we got the mail and went to Lowe's to get another yard light bulb. The final stop was to get the truck oil change. It didn't really need it, but the oil would have been used up by the time we got back.
When we got home I took some more stuff to the trailer and did my exercises. I also disconnected the hose from the trailer. I think it's proved that there aren't any more leaks. Lola came over and I paid her for the lawn mower.
After dinner we surfed and watched TV.
