Today was the first "normal" day in a long time. No alarm, we woke up about 8 and then stayed in bed for another half hour or more. When we got up I did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Ellen's bag had a small leak, so we changed it. After that it was time to do the tire monitor.
I started by initializing the tire monitor and installing the sensors on the valve stems. All of that worked great. The receiver seemed to have the range to pick up the sensors without the repeater. I decided to finish its install anyway. That went pretty fast because of the work that I did last night. All in all I was done with the install by a little after 10.
We loaded up the dog and went to the park. While Ellen stayed there at the park I went to the gun show at the casino about a quarter mile away. It was a complete ripoff. First, it cost $12. Second, it wasn't anybody's idea of a gun show. There were all of 7 vendors selling guns, two of which had inventories of less than 5 guns. Only one or two vendors had an inventory of 50. The rest of the tables were knives, jewelry, hand lotion, even plant fertilizer. I only spent 10 minutes there.
I went back to the park and played with the dog. Then we went home and did some surfing. For lunch we went to IHOP. Then we went to Sam's club. We had fun there. We played several slot machines and turned $5 into $21. Then we sat at the bar in the atrium and watched the fountain show.
We went back into the casino and lost the $20 at other machines. It was fun though. Then we sat in the atrium a little while more and watched the night show. It used the same fountain, but added lasers. About 6 we went to the buffet for dinner. At $10 it was a real bargain.
We went home after that and fed the pets. The rest of the evening was surfing and reading.
