The alarm went off at 7:30. We got up, did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and started the wash. Then we surfed until about 8:30 when Hooch and family showed up. Ellen cooked them breakfast - bacon and pancakes. After breakfast we sat around an talked for awhile until about 10:30. Then it was off to Zilker.
We parked at the park near the Lamar bridge. We walked along the water and crossed the river on the pedestrian bridge. We walked from there to the toy store. The kids had fun looking at all of the toys. I bought everyone except Martha something. She didn't show interest in anything.
After that we walked back to the car. We drove up south Congress to "Lucy's Chicken". It was a great chicken place. They had real moon pies for dessert, so I bought the kid each one. Ellen had one, too and so did I.
Ellen sprung a leak while we were there, so we went home after that. When we got home we changed Ellen's bag while Julia had a nap and Hooch and the kids played basketball.
After basketball Hooch and the kids played Xbox. I watched them and played a game on my phone. We were in the apartment until 7.
When we left the apartment Hooch and I went to the HEB in Dripping Springs to buy stuff for bread making and breakfast. When we got back everyone was watching a kid's movie. When it was over they started another one. It wasn't over until 10:30. Apparently that's pretty late for the kids.
