Day 476

I woke up at 7 today without an alarm.  I turned over and went back to sleep.  It felt good.  I woke up again at 7:30 and started to surf.  Ellen and I surfed for an hour or more before getting up.  Then it was pet stuff and breakfast time.

It was cold, under 50.  So I decided to delay working on the trailer until later.  Instead I started cleaning up the house.  I started with the kitchen counter.  I moved some stuff to the garage, put other stuff away, and threw away some stuff.  The counter is now all clear, it just needs to be wiped.  I also cleaned up part of the kitchen table.  There's more to go though.

The other big effort was to clean up the guest bathroom.  I threw away some stuff from the surgery that we won't need.  I separated what we had into stuff that was partially used and stuff that's NIB.  I suspect that most of the NIB stuff will be given away.

I also order some stuff for the trailer from Amazon and filled out the rebate form for the truck batteries.

At about 1:30 we went out for errands.  We stopped at the post office.  Then we ran the dog at the soccer field.  She did 34 really long retrieves.  Tonight she can hardly walk.  The next stop was lunch at the Longhorn.  Of course we had a coupon.  Then we stopped at Lowe's to recycle the drill battery and the yard light.  We stopped at Wells Cargo to deposit three checks that came in the mail.  Two were rebate checks that had "not valid" dates on them.  The dumbass teller thought that they were the check dates.  It took three people to figure out the true meaning of that simple statement.  The final stop was at the dog wash.  Some guy jumped in front of us as we were going back, so we just left.

We got home a little before 4.  I went out to the trailer to work on it.  I got out the ladder to fix the antenna.  It worked without me doing anything.  I lubed it anyway, which made it work a little smoother.  Then I made the bed.  I took the time to do my exercises (first time since we left).  It wasn't as bad as I thought it might be.  Finally I put backing plates on the tire monitor booster and screwed the fender support back on the fender.

It was after five when I was finished.  Ellen had totally cleaned the guest bathroom, finished a lot of paperwork, and vacuumed the study.  After that it was TV, dinner, and some reading.  We also changed Ellen's bag.  It made it two days, which was nice.
