We got up at 7 even though we hadn't set the alarm. Miracles of miracles Ellen's bag didn't need changing. I did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Then we did a little surfing until it was about 8:30. That was to let the traffic die down.
It was windy and raining when we left. I dropped Ellen off in front of the Sands so she didn't have to walk. I parked in the corner of the LINQ lot again and walked in the rain back to the Sands.
We looked through the new products section and then visited a couple of places that had interesting stuff. Then we went through the lower level tactical area. We found some glasses vendors and a neat electronic ear vendor. Then we went upstairs and looked at some exhibitors that Ellen wanted to see. Finally we went through the upstairs tactical vendors. The only thing we found there was rite-in-the-rain.
Apparently they've really cracked down on selling stuff. Nobody was selling anything.
At about 2 we left. We stopped at Mickey D's for a late lunch even though we were going to meet John and Dee at a buffet for an early dinner. Then we went home, took the dog to pee, and signed up for an extra day at the park. Then we had just enough time to get the the buffet.
The buffet was great. We spent about 2 hours talking and eating. When we got up to leave Ellen found out she'd lost her phone, probably in the bathroom. Luckily it had been turned in at security.
On the way home we stopped at a auto parts store so I could get some wire. When we got home I used the wired to make up my jury rig for the tire monitor booster. I'll hook it all up tomorrow.
That all took until about 7:45. The rest of the evening was reading and surfing.
