We got up at 7 with the alarm. After breakfast and packing up the trailer we were on the road by 7:45. We were lucky. We had a 20 or 30 mph tail wind all the way. That gave us mileage between 12 and 14 all day.
The only problem we had was a delay at the border patrol inspection station. Apparently a car a few cars in front of us was suspicious and got hauled off for inspection.
It took about 8 hours to get to Van Horn. We set up and then just sat in the trailer, had dinner, watched TV, and surfed.
I'm going to bed early because we lost another hour today. That means the alarm will go off at 5 Las Vegas time.
