I was awakened at 7 this morning by a call from State Farm. They wanted a little more information about yesterday's accident. Ellen's bag was leaking, so I just got up when the call was over. I had breakfast and did the pet stuff while Ellen worked on her bag.
After the bag was changed I did some reading on the tire system. It's going to be a pain to hook up. I'm also not sure yet how I'm going to jury rig it.
About 8:30 I left for the show. I parked at the end of the LINQ fence. I met with Vandy and gave her the low down on the stuff I found on Monday. Then I went off looking for things on level 2. I didn't find anything for the club, but I did get to look at a lot of stuff that I wanted to look at.
At noon I called Ellen. She was feeling better and the bag was holding. She didn't want me to come get her though. So I had lunch at the level 1 cafe. It was predictably crappy. Then I continued to look at vendors. I eventually covered the whole level 2 except for the law enforcement people.
By 2:30 I was pretty tired. I went back to the truck and moved it next to the LINQ. I had great parking karma. I walked through the LINQ alley. I stopped at the Flamingo, but they didn't have anything I wanted to buy. Then I went home before the traffic got bad.
When I got home Ellen and I took the dog to the park. We were there for over an hour. She did a lot of sniffing and socializing. She did a lot of retrieves, too.
On the way ome we stopped at Petsmart to pick up a dog bed. Yesterday Lucy chewed up the one we had. That would have been a quick trip except the GPS screwed up and added a couple of miles to it.
When we got home we fed the pets and then left for New York, New York for dinner with Dave and Vandy. We ate there at an Italian place. The tab was $230.
We got home at 9. We did a little surfing and went to bed. Ellen's bag is still holding.
