We got up about 8:15 today. After pet stuff and breakfast I went out to work.
The first job was to add some reinforcement to the bottom struct brackets on the compartment door. When I tried to use them yesterday they bent. I bent them back into position and then used wood blocks behind them to keep them from bending again.
After that I used the Dremel tool to cut out notches in the plant protector. I had to use both of the tools I had because they kept overheating and slowing down. While they were cooling I put a bunch of STS 12 ga hulls in a bag and gave them to Terry.
When cutting the protector was done I spent quite awhile cleaning up. There were little pieces of plastic all over. The good news was that the protector works perfectly. The cats haven't attacked it though, so time will tell.
I called Sue and told her I'd be coming over in a few days. She said fine. After lunch I went to the flat bed trailer and made sure I had the key to unlock it. Then we went to the post office and Harbor Freight. I bought some ratchet tie downs. I also called Joe to get the truck oil changed tomorrow, it's down to 29%.
It was hot when we got home, so I spent the rest of the evening watching TV and surfing. I had a TV dinner for dinner. Ellen is spending a lot of time on the can because she's doing the prep for a colonoscopy tomorrow.
