We got up a little late today, I'm not sure exactly when. I went out to work after pet stuff and breakfast.
I installed the bottom brackets for the struts for the front basement door. That's all I could do without some hardware. Then I cut out a piece of aluminum for the screen door latch. I also started sorting out stuff in the shed. Some will go to Richland and some will go to to Goodwill.
While I was doing that Ellen finished up tying down the dog cover on the couch. It works great. Then we went to Keizer for hardware and drugs.
We stopped at Lowe's for the hardware and Target for the drugs. We also stopped at a mattress store and found a mattress we liked. The guy said he might be able to sell it to us for $500 off their listed price. We said we'd think about it.
There was a fantastic car show in the ballpark parking lot. There must have been 100 highly customized cars as well as cute bicycles and kiddie cars. A lot of the work was incredible. On car had engraving all over it. All of the chrome trim, the bumper, the engine, and even the suspension parts.
When we were finished we went back and bought the mattress. Then we went home and Ellen fixed hamburgers for dinner.
After dinner I went outside. Lucy came, too. She really wanted to walk. She even barked to go. So we walked around the club. Then I went to work installing the carpet I bought at Lowe's in the two basement compartments. I cut out both pieces, but I only had enough velcro to attach one.
I didn't finish until 9:30. After that it was TV and surfing.
