Day 1345

We got up at 7:30, did the pet stuff, ate breakfast, and left to do the wash.  After the wash was done we stopped at the post office on the way home.

The first thing to do when we got home is to determine what to do about the pantry light.  I used the meter to determine it wasn't getting power.  Then I checked the obvious, the fuse.  It was burnt out.  I must have shorted it when I cut the radio power wire.

After that I started to install the tire minder booster.  I had done a little work on the wiring when Ellen came out to paint.  So I decided to work on the front compartment while she painted.  I started by putting the Velcro I bought yesterday on the carpet and putting the carpet back in the compartment.  The result looks and works really well.  I also installed a hook to hang the saw on.

Then I traced the trailer wiring and found a place to connect new 12V power.  I connected a new wire to it and strung it.  Then I went back to the shed (Ellen was finished) and finished the wiring for the switch.  After that it was lunch time.

I took about 20 minutes for lunch and then went out to install the booster.  I drilled holes in the trailer for the booster and switch.  Then I installed them.  Finally I wired everything up.  Doing the wiring was really tiring.  I was wedged up in the compartment and bent over it's rim.

The final thing was cleanup.  By then it was 3 and I was really tired.  I went in to take some time off.  It had just started to rain.  It kept raining harder for the rest of the day.  I ended up watching TV for the rest of the day.
