We woke up a little before 7:30. I didn't feel like getting up, so it was after 8 before pet stuff and breakfast. The first order of business was to call the eye place and find out the date of my appointment. I'd forgotten to write it down. After that I went out to finish the screen door latch and the front compartment gas shocks.
I started with the screen door. I took off the latch and used epoxy to glue a aluminum plate to the door. The epoxy only takes 5 minutes to harden. So I waited a little bit and then drilled holes in the aluminum and then reattached the latch.
Then I went to work on the front compartment door. It was the same sort of thing. Glue the aluminum plates on the door, drill holes for the attachment plate, and then attach the plate.
While I was doing that Ellen was repainting the door. The new paint doesn't match all that well, but it looks a lot better. I did a little sorting of stuff in the shed and then we both went inside for lunch.
After lunch we went out. We went to the post office and then O'Reilly's to get a trailer lock and some connectors. Then it was stops at the bank to deposit a check and Safeway for some food.
Then we went to the outlet stores to look at Bose speakers. They sound pretty good and are really small. Unfortunately they didn't have any in stock. Then we walked around the stores. While we were doing that we met Gerry and his daughter. We talked for quite awhile. It turns out he had his cataract surgery at the place I'm going to go see.
After that we went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to return some stuff we bought yesterday and buy a paper towel holder. Then it was go home to feed the pets and have dinner.
We found two problems with the trailer today. The pantry light failed. There's no bulb, it will have to be replaced. The second was the tank buttons. The fresh water button measures the black tank and vice versa.
About 8 I dumped the tanks and took Lucy for a walk around the club.
