We got up about 7:30, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. We left for Beaverton about 9.
Our first stop in Beaverton was Home Depot. I bought some hardware to mount the bathroom cabinet shelves and some wood to make the shelf for the stereo. After that we went to Restore. I was looking for some outdoor carpet - no luck.
Those stops didn't take as long as I thought, so we stopped at Audi to make an appointment for the car. They said they could take it right then. So I took Ellen to the vet with Cooper and Lucy and drove back.
While I was waiting Hooch texted to say Mom had fallen, cut her head, and vomited. Touchmark was sending her to the hospital. I replied that I was immobile and to keep me informed. Audi took a long time to service the car. It was almost 1 before I picked up Ellen. We decided to have lunch before going to the hospital.
While we were eating Hooch texted to say that Mom's tests were normal. I asked if we should just go home. The hospital is in downtown Portland and if we went there we wouldn't get out until7 or 8 (it's July 3). We walked around Freddie's while we were waiting for a reply. He eventually texted that they were sending her home.
Since we're seeing her tomorrow we decided to go home. It was 3:06 when we left Freddies. We averaged 19 mph getting to Wilsonville. It took an hour and a half to get home.
When we got home I went out to the shed and put the hardware on the bathroom cabinet shelves. Then I installed them. By then it was dinner time and I decided to quit working for the night.
I got on Amazon to look for sound bars. That's when I discovered that they are all powered systems rather than speaker systems. Crap. I spent a lot of time looking for small quality speakers with no luck. I was ready to give up when I came up with the idea of mounting the speakers on the drawer. That gave me a couple of options for speakers. I'll probably order some tomorrow.
That took most of the evening.
