We got up a little before 8, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. Then we got out the guns and paraphernalia and put it in the Ranger. After that Ellen went to the club and I stayed in the trailer to work.
I decided to prep the compartment above the TV for the stereo. I hung a small power strip for power. Then I hung the coax to Toslink converter and wired it up. I also hung the two audio cables neatly on the side of the compartment. By then it was time to go to the club.
I took the Ranger to the club. I talked to a couple of people and waited for everything to start. They actually started on time.
We shot with three people we didn't know. They were nice guys. The course itself was pretty stiff for Oregon. It was about the same as a Capitol City practice course. The scores were kind of low. I shot an 80. High AA was 81. I should have shot 5 - 7 bird better. I lost 8 birds on the last two stations.
As soon as the shoot was over we took the truck to Salem to get the right front tire replaced. It was completely worn out. Of course the place was packed on Saturday afternoon. They told us it would be a three hour wait. We went off to find lunch. We found a great Chinese restaurant and had a great meal.
When we were finished with lunch we went back to the tire place. They had the truck done in about half an hour after we got back. On the way home I left off a bunch of stuff at Goodwill.
When we got back I finished up the stereo compartment. I cut off the connectors for the old stereo and labelled the wires. Then I cut out the shelf and installed it. The compartment is now ready to install the stereo and the speaker switch.
We had leftovers for dinner. After dinner I went out to the shed and inventoried all of the reloading supplies. There's quite a lot. The rest of the evening was TV - car shows.
