We made a conscious decision not to get up today. We stayed in bed for a couple of hours after we woke up. When we did get up we did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Then I started on a couple of small projects.
I finally hit on the way to handle the sewer hoses. I connected a cord to one of the hose holders. Then I put the hose in the hose tube and pushed it to the back. I cut the cord and connected it to a hook I installed in the tube cover. Lastly I put in the other hose. That makes it easy to get at both hoses by just pulling on the cord. I also discovered that the manufacturer hadn't put a screw in one of the tube mountings, so I did.
After that I installed the finger hooks on the front compartment. They make it really easy to open the compartment now. That only took a few minutes to do.
Things didn't go so good when I replaced the gas struts on the bed. It turns out the ones I bought are weaker than the ones that were on it. I also broke the glass in Ellen's jewelry case when I was installing it. Crap.
I'd been wracking my brain trying to figure out where to install the subwoofer. I took out the drawer under the TV. There's plenty of space behind the heater to put the subwoofer. The problem is installing it. I'll have to remove the heater. I couldn't figure out how to remove the heater. I had Ellen ask the Facebook forum and the answer came back. It won't be easy, but it seems doable.
With that done I ordered the Polk subwoofer and another set of stronger struts. After that we had lunch. Then we left to get some plastic to replace the glass I broke. Ellen wanted to stop at Best Buy and get headphones, so we did that. We also stopped at a pet store for dog and cat food. Lucy liked it. We got the plastic at Hobby Lobby.
We stopped at the post office. There was a package slip in the box, but they were closed. We also stopped and picked up Chinese food for dinner.
When we got home we fed the pets and had Chinese. Then the rest of the evening was TV.
