We woke up about 7:15, but stayed in bed for about an hour surfing. Then it was pet stuff and breakfast.
We needed to be at Mom's at 11, so there wasn't much time to do anything. The most important thing was to find a tire for the truck. Google sucks. I typed in Goodyear Salem and got nothing but ads for manufacturer. I finally found a place in Beaverton. I got frustrated and will search again tomorrow with Bing.
I decided to install the bamboo container beside the tool drawer I'd built. This was another simple job that took more time than it should have. I had a lot of trouble finding the right shims for the bottom of the box. Then it took me three times to find the right screws. I finally got it in just before 10.
Ellen didn't hear me when I told her it was time to go. We didn't get out of the club until 10:19. I sat a world record for the trip though. There was hardly any traffic and I exceeded the speed limit for virtually the whole way. I made it to Mom's in 42 minutes.
They had some really neat cars at the car show. One was a 1915 Overland that was in perfect condition. The BBQ wasn't all that good. They didn't thoroughly cook the hamburgers. The rest of the fixings were good though. Mom really wasn't feeling well so she went back to her room after lunch. We followed Hooch over to his place.
Ellen and I took naps while Hooch and Alicia set up a new badminton net. It took them quite awhile. Then they and I played. Eventually Ellen showed up. After awhile we all got tired and went in to nap.
We left about 6 because Hooch needed to to get ready to go to Hood Canal tomorrow. We ate at Arby's on the way home because it was about the only place open.
When we got home Ellen did some sewing on the couch cover. I installed the paper towel dispenser in a cabinet (because of Cooper) and some automatic lights on a couple of the overhead cabinets.
After that it was some TV and bed.
