We got up at 7:30, did pet stuff, had breakfast, and left for the vet. Traffic sucked. It was slow from Wilsonville until Carman. Then 217 was a parking lot from the intersection on up. We got off at Tigard and took the back way up. There was traffic on that, too.
In spite of that we got to the vet just 2 minutes late. We dropped off Cooper and had Lucy examined. She weighs 61 lbs - time for a diet.
I then drove back down to the eye doctor in Tualatin. Again traffic on 217 sucked. I lucked out at the doctor's after a short wait I got to talk to him. He answered my questions and I decided to get fixed lenses. Then it was back north (through traffic) to St. Vincent. I went to the eye doctor there to get my glasses prescription. It cost $50. I also cancelled their surgery.
The next stop was Touchmark. We had lunch with Mom. She seemed to be doing well, but she was tired because she'd gone on a walk in the morning (which she didn't remember). After lunch we went to Hooch's to pick up packages. Only Martha is there, the rest are on a backpacking trip.
By then it was time to get Cooper. 217 was a parking lot from 26 down, so we took Cedar Hills. After picking him up we drove down to Denney to get on. It was slow, but moving, to I5. I5 from Carmen to past Stafford was a parking lot. I mean drive 40 feet, stop, wait, drive 50 feet, stop again. It sucked. Traffic didn't really clear up until past the rest stop.
We got home about 3, I was tired from fighting traffic all day. It was over 90, too. So rather than deal with all of the stuff in the packages I just sat and watched TV.
Ellen fixed spaghetti for dinner. After dinner I felt good enough to get out the sub woofer we got today. I set it up on the floor because I didn't feel like taking out the fireplace. It does make things sound a lot better.
The rest of the evening was TV and surfing.
