Day 1348

We didn't get up until a little after 8.  The new bed is really nice.  My back didn't hurt me all night.  It did hurt a little after I got up.  After pet stuff and breakfast I went out to the shed.

I decided to go through all of the shooting stuff in the work bench and the tool box.  I ended up making piles for Richland, Texas, Goodwill, and the dumpster.  They all had significant stuff in them by the time I was done.

When I finished I went inside and measured under the sink for a partition for the cat box.  Then I went back outside and cut it out.  That took awhile because I had to fit it around the plumbing.  I did get it done and ready for painting.

After that it was time for lunch.  I promised myself that I would work half a day and then go to farmer's markets.  So after lunch we left with Lucy.  We went to the store in South Salem.  It was great.  We bought some produce.  We also got shortcake at their stand.

The next stop was a fabric shop in Keizer.  Ellen bought material to make covers for the back of the kitchen chairs.  We also stopped at BiMart, but didn't get anything.

We drove back on River Road and stopped at both Jones and French Prarie.  We didn't buy anything at either place.

When we got home I sat down and watched TV.  The afternoon was to be a "don't do anything" day.  Ellen started sewing the chair cover.  Then she fixed pork chops for dinner.

At some place in the afternoon the cats unplugged the chair power supply.  I had to climb all over under the chairs to find where they'd unplugged it.  Then I could barely reach the connection to plug it back in.  It was a big pain in the ass.

The rest of the evening was TV.
