We woke up at 8, but didn't get up until 9. After pet stuff and breakfast I went out to start installing gas struts on the basement door.
I measure out where the strut connections needed to be. Then I used epoxy to attach the reinforcement plates to the compartment door. Gerry showed up when I was doing that. I told him I meet up with him and Garrett when I got to a stopping space. I used up the last of the epoxy on the fan base in the shed and then got out my shooting stuff.
Ellen didn't go. Her asshole was giving her trouble. I met up with Gerry and Garrett on station 3. I shot like crap. I haven't shot that badly in years. I don't think I hit more than half the targets I shot at. Maybe part of it was using the 20 ga and #9 reloads, but I certainly didn't have fun.
When we were done I put everything away and then had lunch. After that I went back out to the shed. I wanted to accomplish something. I started by sorting some of the hulls I shot a couple of weeks ago. Then I reloaded them.
After that I finished up doing the wiring harnesses for the cabinet LED's. I completed the last string using wire left over from other projects. Then I wired all three strings to their battery boxes. That involved taking the boxes apart, unsoldering one wire, and then soldering in the wiring harness.
When I was finished with that I still didn't feel like quitting. I retrieved the big boxes that the subwoofer and trailer cable winder had come in. I packed 3,000 12 ga wads in each. Since I'm not going to get my eyes fixed I'm beginning to think about going to Richland.
By then it was after 4. I went inside and watched TV until Ellen fixed dinner - tempera shrimp and rice. After that the rest of the evening was TV and a little surfing.
