Day 1310

We got up about 8.  Both of us are pretty tired.  Working 10 or so hours a day on the trailer is taking it's toll.  We did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and started to work.  Ellen went inside the trailer while I started with the batteries.  I disconnected them from each other and the trailer.  Once I did that it was apparent that they were both discharged.

I added water to both batteries.  I connected one to my smart charger.  It faulted because the dumbass thing can't do 6 volt batteries.  Fortunately my other one would.  It only charges at 6 amps though.  I connected the other battery to one of the trickle chargers.  They claim that they will charge at 3 amps.

I checked the chargers regularly during the day.  The smart charger went down to a 2 amp rate and doesn't seem to be making any progress on charging.  The trickle charger keep going into trickle mode.  If I disconnect and reconnect it it starts charging again.  This mickey mouse went on all day.

Once I got everything connected I went back into the trailer.  I started on the bedroom closet.  I had an amazing amount of clothes in it.  I put a lot in Goodwill.  Most of the stuff I want to keep has to be washed because the mice shit and pissed on it.

Cooper has taken to running out of the door every time it's opened.  That's earned him a place in the box all day.

Between Ellen's work in the kitchen and mine in the closet we completely filled the car with stuff by 11:30.  So we took it all to Goodwill.  There's a big new donut shop across the street.  We stopped there and bought some.  Afterwards we went to BiMart and bought some more plastic bins.  The last stop was AC Greasy for lunch.  It was actually pretty good.

When we got home it was back to work.  Ellen continued in the kitchen.  I finished up in the bedroom.  All of my clothes are now in bins or the wash.  I also packed away all of the toiletries for Texas.  That also involved switching things around with stuff in the Cougar.  I also packed away the CD's.

Somehow both of us got involved with the stuff in the Cougar's closet.  We ended up emptying it.  That was a good idea since it was still wet.  Some of the clothes need to be washed because they got wet.  I didn't have much there and moved it to the Mobile Suites.  Ellen has to wait until we buy her a plastic box for the stuff she's taking to Texas.

We spent the rest of the afternoon on the kitchen.  We cleared off the table.  Then we went through the three junk drawers.  Ellen had the rest already done.  When we finished at 5:30 the kitchen was pretty much done.  That leaves just the living room and the basement. Both of us have been working in the living room, so it's partially done.

Of course after we finish with the Mobile Suites we have a lot of work to do in the Cougar.  I've also got a lot of work to do in the shed and the trap house.

Dinner was sloppy joes and strawberries.  After dinner was surfing and TV.
