I woke up at 6:30. The light from the bathroom skylight keeps waking me up. I did a little surfing, but mainly just lay in bed until after 7. Then it was pet stuff and breakfast. We also started the wash.
The worry about the refrigerator wasn't necessary. It was plenty cold this morning.
While the was was going on I went out and did a little work on the basement. It was just a little work because I got sidetracked rearranging my tool box. It needed it.
When Ellen got back with the bedding I decided to look under the closed off part of the bed. It should have been simple. There's apiece of plywood with four screws that needed to be removed. When I removed them the hinges for the lifting part started to come out. So I removed them. There turns out to be about a 5 inch high storage area there.
Putting it back together became a cluster fuck. I had all but one screw in when a fitting came out that required me to take everything apart again. That required messing with two stripped screws. This simple job took over an hour.
We left for Sisters when the bed was finally back together. The first stop was the hardware store for some parts. Then we started walking through stores. We ended up at the gallery that has the cool metal wall sculptures. We bought one. We also bought $75 and a $125 pens. At their recommendation we went to a place for halibut fish and chips. It was expensive, but great.
After that it was more walking through stores. We ended up at an outside bar for a beer and strawberry lemonade. The last stop was the grocery store.
I was really tired when we got home. I just sat in the recliner and surfed. A truck driver called about picking up the Mobile Suite in the evening. I called Dave and Vandy. They said they wouldn't be there. So I called the driver and said he couldn't pick it up until 10 tomorrow. He wasn't happy.
Dinner was BLT's again. After that was surfing.
