We got up at 8 today. It was ice to get up at the normal time. After that it was pet stuff and breakfast. No one seemed to want to do anything today. Everyone sat around until noon reading, surfing, and playing computer games.
I had a sandwich for lunch. After that I had all of the sitting around that I could do. So I got ready to take a walk with Lucy over to the bar at the grocery store.
Hooch decided that it was time to do something, too. He had me wait while he got everyone ready to leave to take the dogs swimming. That took quite awhile. We finally drove over to the airport and marina.
We had to walk a little ways to find a place where the dogs could swim. It had to have a low bank so Lucy could climb out. Also the river was high and had a current that Lucy could barely swim against. That meant we needed a backwater. We found a good place though.
Lucy did a bunch of short retrieves. I finally called a halt even though she still wanted to go. She didn't complain much to quit. She still pulled on the way home though.
We went from there to the ice cream place. Then it was off to the pickle ball court. We played for a couple of hours.
When we got home Martha fixed spaghetti for dinner. After dinner they watched a movie and I surfed. I went to bed a little early.
