Day 1321

We got up at 7 today, did the pet stuff and had breakfast.  When that was done it was back to moving stuff to the trailer.  It was easy to find places for some of the stuff because there were lots of empty cabinets with lining installed.  I put away some boxes of cabinet stuff.  Ellen handled the cooking stuff.

As I was unpacking things I was also loading the truck with stuff for Goodwill.  Eventually I had the back and the back seat full.  By 12:30 we had all of the trailer boxes in the shed moved to the trailer.  That leaves three things: two boxes of my clothes, a box of stuff for the basement, and all of the clothes on hangers.  Unfortunately Ellen can't find the hot shot programmable remote we had in the old trailer.  It was getting hot, so we decided to stop for lunch.

Tomorrow we'll do a triage of the hanging clothes.  I'll probably wait on the basement stuff until I've attached some more storage stuff.

After lunch I rearranged the shed so that all of the stuff for Texas was stacked out of the way.  Then I drove the Ranger over to the dumpster.  The ranger was completely full of garbage.  I put it all in the dumpster just as the garbage truck got there to empty it.  Then we took the truck to Goodwill and dropped off all of the stuff.

We stopped at Best Buy for electronics.  We bought a 24" TV for the bedroom.  It's much better than the 19" and much lighter.  We bought a 43" 4K QLED TV for the living room.  It's the largest one that will fit.  We also bought a 4K blu-ray player that's small enough to fit in the cabinet.  The bill was a little less then $1,000.

One of the things we unpacked was the table level we used to use to level the trailer it confirmed what we already suspected.  When the auto level is done, the trailer is low in the front.  There's no manual supplied for the system, only a CD.  Ellen found instructions for setting the zero on the web.  When we got home we levelled the trailer manually and then reset the system's level.  It's nice to have a level trailer.

I replaced the bedroom TV and the living room blu-ray player.  They both work really well.  I need to hook up the IR repeater, but for now everything works if you open the cabinet door.  Ellen really needs to reprogram the remote, but I need to install the new TV first.

Dinner as frozen food.  There's nothing else to eat.  We really need to go to the grocery store.  After dinner was watching TV - DirecTV and a blu-ray movie.
