We got up at 7:30 today, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Then it was a little surfing and puzzle. Dan's friend left about 10. Dan was busy getting ready to leave and Julia was sorting photographs. So Ellen and I just did reading, surfing, and puzzle.
By about 1 I thoroughly bored. So was Lucy. So I decided to take her on a walk to the Village. Ellen didn't want to come because her asshole was giving her grief. Lucy and I had a great walk. When we got to the Village (it's about 2.5 miles) I had lunch and a beer at the bar. Lucy got some bacon and french fries.
After that I started back. Ellen texted me while I walking back saying they were going to pickle ball. I was just a little ways from the Ft. Rock turnoff, so I told them I'd meet them there. Lucy was tired by then. She walked the last .5 mile with her head just behind me. I've never seen her do that on a lead before.
When we got there I rested for awhile while they played. Then I played some practice and a couple of games. My knee started hurting pretty bad, so I quit and just watched. We called it quits about 6 and went to the mexican place at the marina for dinner.
The food was good, but it was a little slow in coming. We ordered bananas foster for dessert so we could have a show. It was 8 by the time we got home. Lucy was very hungry.
When we got back the rental place left a message saying that we needed to be out by 11. The kids spent part of the night packing up. So did we. The rest was reading.
