Day 1322

We got up at 8 today.  It was nice to sleep in awhile.  Then it was pet stuff and breakfast.  After breakfast we started in on the clothes hanging in the shed.  It took a long time, but in the end we had a full closet and drawers in the trailer and a bag of clothes for Goodwill.

Gerry stopped by and we talked for awhile.  He's go a new Kreighof that's he's really happy with.  I'm glad he's finally found a gun he likes.

We took on the task of putting in the new TV.  It was harder than I thought it would be.  The old TV came off easily.  The new TV needed different sized bolts, so it was off to the hardware store.  Then I had to modify the mount to accept the larger bolts.  Finally, the mount had to be moved up on the wall.  It took quite awhile to get all of this done.  Then end result is a really nice TV.

Ellen fixed BLT's for lunch, the last real food we had in the trailer.  So after the TV was installed we went to the Safeway on River Road.  That allowed us to stop at Jones Farm for strawberries.  It also allowed us to get rid of the old glasses we had collected.

When we got home I dumped the grey tanks.  It's nice to take long showers.  I also put up the pin box stabilizer.  Then we surfed for awhile and had pizza for dinner.  I took Lucy for a walk around the course.  She was really happy to go.  She's a tired doggy now though.

When we got back I decided to start hanging stuff on the walls.  I hung the clocks, a key holder, and the digital picture frame.  I still have to hook up power to the frame and hang up the temperature gauges.

The DirecTV receiver has started to refuse to record material.  It also won't let us access what's on the disk.  Ellen spent an hour on the phone with a totally useless rep with a heavy Indian accent.  Then she spent more hours trying things she found on the web.  I told her to call and threaten to drop them if they don't get it fixed.  She finally found the right incantation and it works now.
