Day 1308

I woke up at 5:45, had to go to the restroom to take a piss.  It took a long time to get back to sleep.  When I did, I woke up about 7:45.  We got up, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast.  We also fed the pets.  Then we packed up the trailer.  We took our time, so it was 8:30 before we left.

The drive home was 170 miles.  I hate that road.  There's 100 miles of up and down mountain road.  It seems to go on forever.  I'm not looking forward to doing it again in a few days to take the Cougar back to Medford.  That's going to be a bitch day.  Haul the trailer to Medford and then drive 190 miles up to Redmond.  That's a 450 mile day.  Crap.  I'm hoping to make it better by staying a few days at campgrounds in Redmond (shooting) and Sisters (recreating).  We'll see.

I didn't look, but we were probably at the club about noon.  We've found a way to quiet the cat - a squirt bottle.  Squirting doesn't make him shut up, but eventually he gets so wet he shuts up while he licks himself dry.

We parked the Cougar next to the Mobile suites.  I had to trim one of the trees to do it.  Then we tried to find the key to unlock the power post.  We have a million keys, none fit.  I ended up cutting it off with a Dremel.  Unfortunately the 110 plug didn't work, so I had to string cords from the shed.

The water pump gave me trouble.  It wouldn't work on 12V only.  It only works with the 50 Amp plugged in.  That means the Cougar is running off 110.  That means no AC.  That's OK because it's cool at night.

The assholes from the board showed up about an hour after we got there.  They wanted to hassle me about the sewer.  I told them all I did was pay for it and couldn't remember any of the details because it was 15 years ago.  They toddled off saying something about calling Dan.  Ellen called and left him a message.

We spent the rest of the day working.  Ellen cleaned up the Mobile Suites (the mice had shit all over it) and started to pack up stuff.  After setting up the Cougar I got the car and the Polaris running.  Then we went to Keizer to get dog food, cat food, some plastic totes, and lunch.  When we got back I gave the Polaris a bath and Ellen took pictures of it.  We quit a little after 6 because we were too tired to do any more.  We'll get back to it tomorrow.

We surfed for awhile and then ate leftovers for dinner.  Then it was more surfing and TV.  The DirecTV works, but it needs a little fine tuning.
