Day 1313 lived up to it's number - it sucked. We got up at 7, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Then it was to work. Ellen concentrated on the inside of the Mobile Suite, cleaning it up and packing away some items. I worked outside. In fact, I spent a lot of the day outside. I started by removing the temperature gauges from the Mobile suite.
I unloaded the truck. It still had all of the stuff from Texas in it. I also rearranged stuff so that it was grouped by who receives it. When Ellen started packing up the Cougar I took a steady stream of stuff to the shed. By the end of the day it was really full.
Ellen kept packing. The battery charger finally finished charging the batteries. So I hooked them back up. Then I closed up the slides. I don't think that the slides have worked that well in years. The converter in the Mobile Suites probably weren't charging them completely. Then I removed the tire covers. That was an ugly job involving laying flat on the ground by each tire to untie the cover.
We took off about three to get the title for the Mobile Suites and drugs at CVS for Ellen. That turned into a fiasco when I went looking for diesel on River road. We lost about an hour doing that.
When we got back I dumped the black water tank on the Mobile Suite. Then I filled it half full with water. I also dumped the Cougar tanks. Finally I removed the temperature gauges from it.
I had a scare when disconnecting the propane tank from the Mobile Suites. Of course removing the two tanks so I could get to stuff was a pain in the ass. When I removed the hose from the main tank it sprayed me with propane for several seconds. It was pointed right at me. Fortunately there were no bad effects. That pretty much ended the outside work.
All during this time I was going into the Cougar occasionally to pack up my stuff. At the same time I moved the stuff we would need into the truck.
We finished emptying the Cougar about 9:45. We drove to Carl's in Woodburn for a late dinner and ice from Safeway. When we got back I wrapped some of the bedding in plastic bags and took it to the shed. We finally got to bed about 11:30.
