Day 1334

We got up a little after 7, did the pet stuff and had breakfast.  After that the first order of business was to finish packing everything up.  When that was done Hooch asked me to go to the hardware store and get some blue loctite.

I got there at 7:45.it didn't open until 8.  I didn't lose any time though.  I went over to the gas station and fueled up.  I also gave the windows a good bath.  They needed it, they were covered in tree shit.  By the time I was done the hardware store was just opening.  I got the loctite and went back to the house.

Hooch was fighting fixing two ceiling lights in the laundry room. The parts from the new light fixture didn't fit the ones that were installed even though they were the same lights.  The two he'd bought weren't even the same.  Cheap Chinese shit.  It took quite awhile to get what should have been a simple job of installing  two light shades done.

When that was finished I loaded up the car.  It was packed by the time I was done.  Then I spent at least and hour helping Hooch to load his truck.  We left about 10:45.  Julia had convinced me to drop off the unused fixtures at Habitat for Humanity.  All we had was the address and the GPS led us on a tour of Sunriver rather than a direct route.  When we got there Habitat for Humanity was no where to be found.

We hit the road.  Traffic wasn't bad an we made really good time except for about 30 miles through the mountains where we were following a slow trailer and didn't have anywhere to pass.  We got home about 2.

After unpacking things we went to pick up the mail.  There were five boxes from Amazon.  Then we ate at AC Greasy.  Ellen's asshole had been giving her trouble all morning before we left and more trouble when we got home.  The last stop was Safeway.

When we got home I opened all of the packages and dealt with them.  Ellen sat in the can.  I took the cardboard out and did some measuring for a couple of the projects.  It was 6 when I decided to do some work on the trailer.  I went outside and installed the two baskets I'd gotten from Amazon in the front basement.  Then I filled them up with stuff from the shed.

After that I installed hooks for the fishing pole case and hung it up.  These tasks don't sound like much, but they took until almost 8:30.  I called it quits then.  When I came back in Ellen was still on the toilet.

The rest of the evening was surfing and a little TV.
