Day 601

We woke up at 7:30 and got up at 8.  After pet stuff and breakfast we went to Home Depot to get a GFCI circuit breaker.  Unfortunately the $40 gamble didn't pay off.  The new breaker trips just like the old one.  The internet says that this is probably because of a wet receptical.  They all seem dry, but I wonder if the water leak has gotten some wire wet.  I gues there's nothing more I can do to fix it except hit each one with a hair dryer and see if that fixes it.

After replacing the breaker I decided to fix the cabinet in the bedroom.  The fact that the catches for the bottom drawers don't work has bugged me since we got the trailer.  I made a couple of shims out of scrap wood.  Installing them was a pain because there was no way to use a drill or normal screwdriver.  Luckily I had a ratchet offset screwdriver.  I couldn't have done it without it.  It was still a pain screwing the screws for the shim in without being able to drill pilot holes.

I thought I'd have smooth sailing after installing the second.  Unfortunately they didn't build the cabinet straight.  The second side was a quarter inch lower than the first.  I had to get out everything, cut another shim, and then use a chisel to reduce its thickness.  Then it was the same pain in the ass to install.  I like the result though.  For the first time ever you can open and close the lower drawers without the whole thing moving in and out.

After that it was lunch time.  Then it was a lot of reading and a little surfing.  Lucy was really, really, bored.  A little after 2 we went to the post office to pick up packages.  We stopped at the club on the way back because Lucy was bored.  She did more than 10 60+ yd retrieves.  Then we talked for awhile.  Andreas needed me to run him out to station 5.  Lucy followed us.  I drove slow because she'd just finished retrieves. She was ready to stop when we got to 5, and rode back with me.  I was proud of her.

We talked a little more and then went back to the trailer for dinner.  After dinner it was more reading and a movie.

Sometime during the evening the circuit breaker for the converter went off.  I didn't notice until after the movie.  The batteries drained down quite a bit.  Fortunately the breaker didn't trip on reset, but it worries me.
