Day 611

I got up at 7:30 today because I needed to fill up the water tank.  This is the first time I filled it up from the house well.  It's a lot easier stringing 100 feet of hose and just waiting while the tank filled.  I'm hoping the water will be OK.

As soon as that was done and we'd had breakfast we left for Hooch's place.  When we got there I helped him with more trailer stuff.  The first thing we did was go to Curtis and get him a new backflow valve for his balck tank sprayer.  We also bought a couple of other things.  When we got back we replaced it and it solved his water leak problem.

Hooch did other things while I sanitized the water system (it took hours), tried to find parts for his bike rack, tried to fix his stereo, and replaced a possibly burnt out light bulb (I think the fixture is broken).  I wasn't successful with his rack, and the stereo needs an AV switch.

Hooch went to an archery match.  I went inside and took a nap.  When I woke up I played with the kids a little.  Eventually we went to the Columbia store with Martha.  We bought $300 worth of stuff.  We stayed until they closed and then met Hooch at the Mexican restaurant on Barnes.  The food was standard American Mexican.

We didn't stay long after we got back to Hooch's place.  It was after 8 and he'd been up last night until 2:30.  The dog was glad to get home earlier for her late dinner.
