Day 627

I woke up at 7 today.  There was no reason, I just felt like it.  I fooled around with Ellen in bed for awhile and then got up.  After pet stuff and breakfast I did some shopping.  One of the places I frequent had a sale going with some really good prices.  By the time I was finished it was time to go north.

We stopped at the post office on the way up.  There were 5 packages waiting for us.  Traffic was heavy on the way up, but moving.  We made it to the dentist office in about 50 minutes.  They took me right away.  The crown prep took about 90 minutes.  Ellen went to Hooch's place and did the chores there.

When I was done we called up Mom and went over there.  I cleaned the cat box, it wasn't very bad.  The we took her to a Thai place.  They had good food, but I rate the Pad Thai as middle of the road.  Mom said she liked her stir fried chicken, but I'm not sure she did.  After that she was up for a cupcake.  She ended up getting a brownie.  She could only eat half of it, just like me last week.

After that we went back to Mom's.  She left her keys in the mailbox and I had to go back down to get them.  We checked her mail and it looks like there's a bill to pay.  I'm emailing Hooch.

I left Ellen at the laundromat on the way home.  I changed to the truck and went to Cycle Country to get the rest of the parts for the Ranger.  After a quick stop at Roth's it was back to Woodburn to get Ellen.  She had just finished.

It took awhile to unload everything when we got home.  Then I started to open the packages that had come in the mail and put the stuff away.  Most of it is stuff that will provide me with projects for several days.  Then it was time for dinner.

After dinner I installed a new magazine release on Ellen's AR.  She helped, which made the whole thing possible.  Then I started on installing the windshield on the Ranger.  Ellen helped with lifting the window into place and center it.  At that point it was getting dark and cold, so we quit.  We walked to the garbage because I didn't want to drive the Ranger with the window half installed.  Lucy had a good time accompanying us.

The rest of the evening was reading.
