I made up for yesterday. I didn't get up until after 9. Then it was the standard pet stuff and breakfast. Then I surfed Amazon for quite awhile looking for things for the new Ranger. I finally got bored with that and went outside to sort hardware. It took along time, until 1, but I got it finished.
After lunch we went to Safeway to buy some groceries. I also needed to get some gas for the Ranger. The dealership shipped it with just enough gas to drive it off the trailer and to park it.
When we got home I tried to throw the bumper for Lucy. She only wanted to do one retrieve, and I quit after forcing her to do 2 more. I think this may be a milestone. She's now too old to do retrieves. I'm really depressed.
After that I gassed up the Ranger and we went to the club. The club was really busy yesterday and it was really busy today. So we sat and talked until most of the people had finished. I didn't see any reason to wait on the course for them.
We did finally go out and shoot. We had a good time. We were trying out the new B&P shells. I definitely like the 1200 fps better than the 1260 ones. I wish the 1200 were 8's instead of 8.5's. Lucy went around almost the whole course on foot. The only time she rode was when we made her. I'm not sure how this jives with not wanting to retrieve.
After shooting we went back to the club and talked for a little while. Both Dave and Vandy are tired from the weekend. Then we went home for dinner.
After dinner I did a little more Amazon. Then I went out and put a Briley decal and a Minions decal on the Ranger back window. I also decided to rearrange the top shelf of one of the shelving units. That led to some more hardware sorting.
I took some of the clothes in. I couldn't take all of them because at least half were still wet. That's after hanging in there for 6 days.
The rest of the evening was surfing and TV.
