Day 605

I had a bad night.  Woke up in the middle of the night with bad stomach cramps that led to a bout of massive diarrhea. Because of that I slept in until about 9.  After that it was pet stuff and breakfast.  About 10 I started to wash the big trailer.  After awhile Ellen came out to help.  It was just a big a pain in the ass as you would expect.  We got done a little after 1.  It really looks great right now, all white and shiny.  I doubt that will last more than a few days.

One byproduct of the washing was to confirm that water in the outside outlet was tripping the GCFI.  Fortunately it was sunny today and by evening it was working again.  I'll seal the outlet tomorrow.

We ran out of water washing the lunch dishes.  So I spent the hour or so after lunch filling up the tank.  Dave talked to me for a few minutes and said that the guys that redid the well house said that all of the outside faucets had treated water.  I went back and looked.  They're right.  When I looked before I misinterpreted where one half buried pipe went.  I guess that means I won't be hauling water any more.  We'll see.

I finished with the water about 3.  Then we went grocery shopping.  We needed a lot of basics.  We also got Chinese for dinner.  When we got back we stopped and talked with Vandy for awhile.  It was 5:30 before we got back to the trailer.

When we were putting away the groceries I got sick of storing plate in the pantry.  I started looking for an alternative and found that we had a bunch of unneeded glasses and plastic bins.  I got everything out of the cabinets.  I threw some away, put aside others for Goodwill, and rearranged the rest.  That allowed me to move the plates and some mugs out of the pantry.  The results is a lot of new usable space.  All the food fits much better now.

I called Joe while I was doing the water.  We'll take the truck there Wednesday morning.  That meant I had to figure out what I'll tell him I want done to the Polaris.  I priced out the parts and fluids on Amazon.  Those two things will be $150 or more.  It hasn't been serviced in years though. I also ordered $50 worth of stuff for the big trailer - a door latch, a heater rod, and a couple of step carpets.

After some surfing I decided to rearrange my key chain.  That doesn't sound like much, but the keysafe chains make it an involved process.  I hoping the new arrangement will make life a little easier.

All that pretty much blew the day.  I figure we got a lot done.
