Day 603

We got up about 8 and did the pet stuff and had breakfast.  It was raining.  From my point of view that nixed shooting.  Ellen was more optimistic.

One piece of good news.  The GFCI was working.  I checked the outdoor outlet.  It needs re-caulking.  I can't do it today, but maybe I'll get to it in a day or two.

By 9:30 the rain had stopped, so we went down to the club to register.  It was cold though, so I wore a winter shooting coat that I hadn't worn in many years.

The shoot was OK, but I kind of sucked.  I kept dropping targets that I should have hit.  The end result is that I finished pretty low.

The original plan was to go to Hooch's after the shoot.  However, he called and said that he forgot to tell me that he had to take Alicia to a park party.  He advised me not to go.  So we shot super sporting instead.  I did better there - AA 2.  I also got a punch.  Ellen was really happy.  She got D1 and a punch.

It was after 4 when we finished.  It would have been close to 6 by te time we went up there, so I called Hooch and told him I'd meet him tomorrow.

We did a little surfing and then had dinner.  After dinner I dumped the tanks and did my exercises.  I also reoriented the lock on the tank valve door so that it was pointing in the right direction.

After that it was more surfing and some reading.
