WE got up at 8 today. I did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Then I left for Portland. It was raining hard. The trip up was OK except for the rain until I got to 205. Then the traffic slowed a lot. It didn't quite stop, but it came close. That lasted until 217. Then 217 slowed down at Tigard to Beaverton.
When I got to Hooch's I got their house key. Then we talked for a short while. Hooch wanted me to take the rest of the cake. Julia wanted a piece. So she cut two, one for herself and one for the kids to change. I took the rest to keep Hooch happy.
The rain let up some and so did the traffic on the way back. I stopped at the ATV dealer across from Washington Square. They had Honda and Kawasaki side by sides. I didn't like them. I also stopped in Tigard. I got cat food for Fletcher and some pellets for the new CO2 pistol. The only other stop was the post office.
When I got back I stopped at the club and gave Dave the cake. I also did the paperwork for the .308 receiver. It cleared in a few minutes. Ellen was out shooting in the rain with Gerry. I also found out that Dave was in the market for a side by side.
When Ellen got back we ate lunch and she cleaned her gun. Then we left for the post office so she could mail a check to the IRS. Then we returned the wheels I'd bought at Harbor Freight. We also bought a few groceries at Roth's. The last stop was the Polaris dealer.
We looked at the new Ranger and we decided to get one. They have one, but they have to order the cab parts. I plan on installing them myself. That saves $900. They were going to give me $4000 for the old Ranger. I told Dave I'd sell it to him for that. He said he'd think about it. I told him I needed to know by tomorrow afternoon. Apparently I'll have a new Ranger tomorrow.
Ellen went with Dave and Vandy to eat Sushi. I stayed home because I've been eating way too much food, cake, and beer this week. I forgot to weigh in today, but it probably won't be pretty tomorrow.
The evening was surfing, reading, and listening to music on the bluetooth speakers. They sound OK for being so small. Of course there's little bass.
