I woke up about 5:30 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. So I surfed until about 7 and then got up. I did the pet stuff and had breakfast and then did some more surfing. It was too cold to work outside. A little after 10 we left for Cycle World. I bought the missing fasteners that I needed for the new Polaris. I couldn't get the hose clamp.
We then drove up to Woodburn so I could get my prescription and we could deposit a check. Ellen was having digestive troubles (she had them all day). The last stop was the hardware store to get a clamp. We ate lunch at the Asian place.
When I got home I started work on the Polaris. The first door wouldn't fit, not matter what I tried. I finally ended up bending the hinges with a hammer to get it to work at all. I spent hours on it and even had Ellen out helping. I finally gave up on getting it to fit and settled for workable. The other door went together with no problems or adjusting. Of course it's the passenger side. I din't get dome until 3.
I put everything away and loaded the rig with the stuff from the other rig. Then I used it to take the garbage and big boxes away. I drove around the course on the way back. That's when I discovered that it limits the speed to 15 if the seat belt isn't fastened. I'm going to have to figure to how to defeat that.
By that time it was dinner time. I did a little surfing and ate. Then I went out and drained the balck tank, the grey tank, and filled up the water tank. What a pain.
The gas for the hot water has decided not to work again. I wasn't up to dealing with it and just switched it to electric.
The rest of the evening was surfing and shopping for parts for the Polaris. I'm going to add some switches and maybe a radio.
