Day 614

We got up about 8, did the pet stuff and had breakfast.  Then we headed for Jones and Jones.  We made a quick stop at Fry's to look for an AV switch (unsuccessfully) and then continued on.  We got there a little after 10.

We had a list of five things - resize a ring, repair two rings, do a pair of earrings, do a pendant, and do a ring.  That will cost a lot, but we can afford it (see below).  After that we stopped for a $5 cup of coffee and lunch.

We got to Gerry's a little after 1.  He had done a lot of work preparing a report on our account.  The short version is that we've been spending everything we want to and the account still has $1.5 million more in it than when we retired.  The main message was spend money now, because we're going to get screwed on the RMD.  We can't think of anything we want to buy except a new Ranger.  We probably will.

The last stop was Hooch.  I redid his stereo.  It works nice.  Then I played chauffeur, taking the kids to and from gymnastics.  I also filled up his propane tanks.  I brought the kids a KitKat cake when I brought them home  They were really pleased.  After dinner I drove over to Barnes and Noble and bought a book for Alicia's summer homework.  All that driving saved Hooch a lot of time.  Martha isn't doing shit to help him.

We left about 9.  As I got to Woodburn I realized that he didn't give us a house key.  Shit.  That means we'll have to drive up there tomorrow afternoon.  I kind of bummed.  I wanted to go Polaris shopping tomorrow.
