I woke up about 7:30, played games, and then got up for pet stuff and breakfast. After that I did a little surfing followed by searching for things to do.
Of course the first thing was exercising the dog. We decided to go to the same place that we'd gone to yesterday. We also decided to do the tourist thing when that was done. We put Abby in the truck and took off.
Our first stop was Wally World. I wanted a cheap water pressure regulator to trade in at Camping World. They had a sign saying trade in the old one and get a new one for half price. I got one and we continued to the dog park.
There were dogs at the park, but they we mainly just lying around. Abby ran around a little and sniffed some butt, then she did the same thing. That wasn't accomplishing anything. I ended up walking around the park several times. That way she ran around a little following me. Eventually we just left.
We drove to "Old Town". It's a multi-block tourist trap situated where the center of the original town was. The only original building was the church beside the small plaza. Radiating out from there in all directions are the usual tourist shops - Indian jewelry, t-shirts, restaurants, and other assorted tourist stuff. We had Abby, so we only went into a couple of stores. We ate lunch at one of the restaurants. The food was good and not too expensive. I passed on the $14 margaritas though.
We stopped to fill up the truck on the way home. I swapped the new pressure regulator for the old one and went to Camping World. When I tried to buy the one "on special". They told me I had to trade in the exact same pressure regulator. I laughed in their face and left. By the way, their sign says nothing of the sort.
When we got home it was video time. Ellen fixed Pad Thai that we got at Costco. It wasn't as good as at a restaurant, but it was OK.
There was a pretty strong wind storm after dinner. I'm glad it finally died down. I don't want something like that tomorrow. That storm was followed by a shorter rain storm. It barely put down the dust.
We did a few things to prep for leaving tomorrow and went to bed early.
