I woke up about 8, played games, and then got up for pet stuff and breakfast. There wasn't any reason to get up earlier, we only had 100 miles to go today.
After breakfast I went outside and drained the tanks. It was the normal boring job. After that I went back inside and surfed to kill time. About 10:15 we started to hook up. That went fine and we were on the road at 10:50, 10 minutes before the checkout limit.
The trip was pretty much normal. The first 15 miles of 93 barely qualified as paved road, at least in the right lane. The left wasn't much better though. I spent the whole time driving out of the normal lane in order to avoid the worst of it. Unfortunately that wasn't always possible. Thankfully after that the road surface got better. It still showed significant damage all the way to the dam.
We got to the park about 12:30. We unhooked and then went to town. We left Abby in the trailer. We stopped in at a True Value and got stuff to repair the trailer floor. The patch is coming up on one edge.
We ate lunch at the A&W for old times' sake. Then we went to downtown. We walked around and toured several tourist traps. We ended up at a bar with a nice patio and covered seating. We sat there enjoying the warm weather. I just didn't want to sit in the trailer anymore.
On the way home we found a nice park for the dog. It's not an official dog park, but people let their dogs run there. There's also an official dog park. We'll take Abby to one or both tomorrow. It was90 degrees and too hot when we got back to the trailer.
We watched videos and napped for the rest of the afternoon. Ellen fixed hot dogs for dinner. After dinner I took Abby for a walk around the park. Then it was more videos until bed time.
All in all I think it was just the day I was looking to have.
