I woke up at 8, played games, and then got up for pet stuff and breakfast. After that we took Abby to the park. She ran for over half an hour while I walked around the ark for exercise. Ellen stood under a shade tree. This time Abby wanted to play Frisbee. She's getting better and with some practice will be catching it regularly.
After that I took Ellen over to Dan's so they could go to church. I went back to the storage unit to continue the inventory. It was slow going. Several of the ammo cans were loose cartridges with no count. I counted 1200 9mm and over 600 .223 among other cans.
I also sorted through a coupled of range bags and counted up boxes of wads. All in all there was a lot of counting. I did manage to get another 2 racks inventoried. That only leaves one, but it's full of stuff.
I quit when Ellen called. It was past lunch time, but they'd eaten at the church. I went over and got myself ice cream. Some lunch.
Dan's friend with the inheritance came over. We talked with them for over an hour. They brought their Visla and he and Abby had a great time playing chase all over Dan's place. The wife understands money management, the husband (who inherited the money) doesn't. We spent the time explaining why it is a good thing and trying to get him over fear of market volatility.
Dan signed the Bronco over to me. I hope I don't have a problem getting it registered.
When they left we went over to the Shorthorn for their celebration. They supplied lemonade, baked beans, and roast pig. The community supplied potluck. Ellen was going to bring an apple pie, but she burned it.
After that everyone wanted to go home and nap. So we did. That included Abby. Between the park and the Visla she was tired.
We never got together again. Ellen had the shits and I was having fun sleeping.
