I woke up about 8, played games, and then got up for pet stuff and breakfast. I called Dan and he said he wanted to eave at 10:30. I went out to the storage unit and continued my inventory until time to leave.
The Bronco did pretty good on the trip to Baker. It held speed pretty well as long as I stayed in 4th, and sometimes 3rd, gear. 5th was just for maintaining speed going down hill. There were lots of trailers headed for Baker. Luckily I wasn't delayed by any.
We met up at the garage and I dropped off the Bronco. Then we did some errands. Dan wanted to go to Albertson's, BiMart, and Mickey D's. Then we headed back to Richland. Dan dropped me off at the park and took Ellen to his place.
I drained the tanks. Then I rigged up the new water connection. I think that it's going to work well. I won't have to switch hoses when draining tanks any more. We'll see. Then I went back to the storage unit for more inventory. I ran into more cartridge counting, which made for really slow going. Eventually Ellen came over with the golf cart so we could take Abby to run.
We went to the barn. Abby ran all over like a crazy dog. She twice ran right by a rooster that Sugar later scared up. She didn't use her nose at all. She just looked for tweety birds to point and chase. After a half hour or so we went home. Abby was just beginning to slow down and maybe use her nose. I'm afraid she needs a lot of experience before she'll be good at hunting.
We went back to Dan's and washed the dog. After some talking he drove use back to the park and we said our goodbyes. I put away some stuff in preparation for leaving. Then I turned the truck around and lined it up for hitching up.
The rest of the evening was videos and surfing.
