I woke up about 7:30, played games for a while. And the got up to load up the truck with the laundry. It was too far to the laundry room to haul it all.
I fed the pets and had breakfast after I got back. I also took the dog to the dog park and did some cleanup. I also got the shooting stuff ready. Then it was surfing until the laundry was done.
With that done we tested the old Starlink cable. It's toast so we ordered another one. It should be here tomorrow. After that it was load up the truck and go to the sporting clays course.
Shooting was fun. There were 15 stations, each with 4 traps. There was even a trampoline. We ended up shooting a whole case of ammo. I particularly liked making noise for the RV park. We saw 3 quail while we were shooting. Abby was really frustrated, so while Ellen was paying I let her run around part of the course. There was no one shooting.
Our next stop was a dog park. There was a GSP there, but it didn't want to run much. Abby had fun with the frisbee. I also let her pin a robin in the big grassy area beside the park. She did it perfectly. I walked all the way around the bird and walked to it until it flushed. Abby stayed still the whole time. If the robin had been a game bird it would have been history.
The next stop was Harbor Freight. I bought a long vice grip pliers. That will make replacing the Starlink cable a lot easier. We also stopped at Arby's for lunch and Costco for water to take to Oregon. The bottle deposit is as much as the water. Fuck liberals.
After that we went home for videos and a nap.
Dinner was a not too good frozen thing. After dinner was more videos.
I'd planned on going to Homedale to shoot tomorrow. If the Starlink cable shows up I'll probably install it instead.
