Day 3449

 I woke up at 6:30 and couldn't get back to sleep, so I played games.  I got up about 8 for pet stuff and breakfast.  After that we left for errands.

The first stop was the hardware store for a new water hose.  Then it was Keizer (with a stop at Dutch Bros.) for cat food and Verizon.  Abby was with us, so she got both a puppachino and a chew. 

At Verizon I got a new phone.  I was sick of the bad reception I was getting with it, so I wanted to turn it in for a new one.  When I handed it over I discovered that it was literally coming apart.  Replacing it was a good choice.  I got a cover for it, too.  I need to get the screen protector from Amazon.  We stopped at Jones Farm on the way home.

When we got home we installed the new water hose.  I needed Ellen's help to straighten out the coiled hose.  Did I mention that it was raining?  The new hose seems to be working well.  After that Ellen fixed grilled sandwiches and I went back to Amazon.  I ordered screen protectors and carpet for the trailer steps.  Then I spent a lot more time on trailer lights.  I finally found one that I think we can live with.  I ordered everything. 

From there I attempted to transfer the songs from the old phone's memory card to the new one.  I ran in to a bug in Windows that caused the songs not to show up in File Explorer.  It took a long time to figure it out.  Once I did it didn't take long to do the transfer.  I also transferred over some pictures.  Then I had to download a player.  That's when I discovered that Samsung has put some DRM in place that causes some of the songs that I OWN not to play on any player.  I'm pissed.

Ellen had been watching a chick flick.  She stopped to fix hot dogs for lunch.  Then she took Abby for a walk.  I stayed and tried to clean up all of the useless apps that were on the phone.  I got about half of the one before I ran out of battery.

I went back to videos for a while and then surfing before bed.
