I woke up at 6:30 and played games until 7:15. Then it was up for breakfast and hooking up the trailer. We were on the road at 8:15.
Overall the trip was pretty good. Traffic was light, even through Sisters. I did get stuck behind slow people twice. Once was for a short while and the other was for several miles. The drive was really tiring though. Two days in a row of twisty mountain passes is a lot.
We got to the club about 11. Setting up was a lot more work than usual. I had to cover the tires, put up the tripod, and put the Starlink on the pole. When I connected the water I had to redo some of what I did yesterday. The result worked good, at least for a while (see below).
With the set up done we took the cover off the Audi. It had blown half off and the car was filthy. Ellen cleaned the truck interior with the shop vac while I gave the car a bath. I wiped it down so there wouldn't be water spots.
With that done it was time for errands. We filled up the Audi at 4.15/gal. Prices here suck. Then we went to AC Greasy for lunch. The next stop was Safeway for bananas and a few other things. We stopped at Baumann's on the way back for strawberries and the post office for the mail.
When we got home we took Abby to the clubhouse. We talked with Dave for a while and paid off the bills. Abby had a great time running both over there and back.
When we got back it was videos followed by a nap. After dinner we handled all of the mail. We sorted it, filed some of it, shredded some of it, and threw away the rest.
The sink caddy had became unattached 2 days ago. I went outside and got better attachment hooks. It' solid now.
Ellen watched a chick flick while I looked for lights on Amazon. I spent hours and couldn't find what I wanted. I'll continue the search tomorrow.
The water failed while Ellen was taking a shower. I went outside (57 degrees) to figure out what was wrong. The pump was working and so was the filter. I took the pressure limiter off and it was working, too. Finally I took off the Y splitter. The screen at the trailer input was coated with a mud like substance. I replaced it and put everything together. The water came through at a trickle. When I disconnected the hose there was a little bit of mud like stuff on the new screen. That means a bad hose.
I got a 100 foot hose that had been left in the carport. I don't know who's it is. I used it to replace the bad hose. That gives us water until tomorrow.
This whole thing took over an hour in the cold. At least I'll get a shower tonight.
